Part Time Audio Video & Warehouse Technician

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing all AV event setup and teardown for AVT Productions events.
  • Responsible for ensuring A/V Techs deliver the expected AVT Productions level of service.
  • Oversee resources to proactively ensure high quality service delivery while striving for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for following protocols for A/V products and services.
  • Provide professional, courteous technical support service to all customers with an emphasis on client services.
  • Provide solutions for presentation needs occasionally under high-pressure circumstances.
  • Provide immediate response to requests for assistance to events in progress.
  • Setup, calibration and technical support for AV systems
  • Setup and operation of portable audio systems.
  • Assist with QC and repair warehouse inventory items

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of audiovisual experience required.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Willing and able to drive a box truck.
  • Set construction and woodworking experience is a plus.

Internship – Marketing Development Representative

Job Description

AVTP is currently seeking a skilled, experienced and energetic Market Development Representative to join our marketing team. The Market Development Rep will have a direct impact on our success by nurturing prospects from lead status and qualifying them into the sales pipeline.

This role will act as a layer between marketing and sales, with a focus on turning leads into opportunities. The Market Development Rep will qualify all inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaigns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee internal and external staffing resources to proactively ensure high quality service delivery while striving for continuous improvement.
  • Establish a project plan for each portion of implementation and holding internal and external partners accountable and provide solutions for event needs occasionally under high-pressure circumstances.
  • Work with the AVT Productions internal team, warehouse and external vendors in ensuring that all logistical needs for the event are understood and met and on onsite main point of contact for all aspects of production
  • Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills with superb attention to detail
  • Work very closely with Account Manager in managing of the project budget, keeping track of expenses and updating the team on costs so that they are able to be communicated to the client as needed
  • Ongoing reconciliation of all project expenses, including ensuring vendor invoices are accurate and paid, and client invoices reflect all approved event expenses
  • Provide immediate response to requests for assistance to events in progress.
  • Responsible for ongoing coaching and development of staff and timely performance management feedback.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience managing and directing corporate special events
  • Effectively managing and executing against $500k event budgets
  • Auto CAD & Vector Works design skill and experience
  • Ability to read and build audio visual design documents and equipment orders.
  • Educated on the latest event technologies, with the ability to weave these in to event experience seamlessly
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Well-developed project management skills
  • Builds solid and reciprocal relationships with designated client contacts and vendors
